Current Project

Agricultural Initiative

The gift of our compound in Deyemon Haiti is that it has acres of suitable land for planting and harvesting. Our hope is to steward this land to serve the community and to serve our students well. In 2019 we partnered with an agricultural team from the University of Georgia to steward our land well. We have since began a bunny project in the hopes of creating a food resource for the community, an income generating activity for our churches and a learning opportunity for our students. We are also looking at coffee crops, and other vegetable crops as a means of income and food.

Our hope is that not only can we teach our students how to thrive agriculturally, but that upon graduation we could equip them with resources (i.e. seeds or a rabbit pair) to launch a personal business.

In sponsoring this project you will be supporting the following costs:

Seeds for planting

Livestock- $210

Labor for planting projects
